Role: Experienced Powerplant Technician
Location: Tallinn, Estonia
Permanent Position | Starting Autumn 2026
Salary: €35,000 – €53,000 (depending on experience & approvals)
Type Training Available (CFM56-5B / CFM56-7B)
Chevron Recruitment is supporting a leading aviation maintenance organisation in Tallinn, Estonia, who will be recruiting Experienced Powerplant Technicians for permanent positions commencing Autumn 2026.
This is an excellent forward-looking opportunity for technicians with CFM56 engine experience, or those seeking to gain engine type training where a variant is not currently held.
Role Overview
As a Powerplant Technician, you will play a key role in the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B engines, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with regulatory, OEM, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair activities on CFM56-5B & CFM56-7B engines
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble engine modules and components
• Ensure compliance with EASA regulations, company procedures, and OEM documentation
• Accurately complete technical documentation and maintenance records
• Identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and support rectification activities
• Work closely with engineering and quality teams to maintain high safety and quality standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the powerplant workshop
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Powerplant / Engine Technician within an aviation MRO environment
• Previous experience on CFM56 engines preferred
• Candidates without a specific engine variant will be considered — type training available
• Strong knowledge of EASA maintenance requirements
• Ability to read and interpret AMM, CMM, IPC, and OEM manuals
• Detail-oriented with a strong safety and quality mindset
• Able to work independently or as part of a team
