Job description
New requirement for a Systems Integrator for Control Systems
playing a crucial role in the development of next-generation systems for the civil aerospace market. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a strong background in systems specification and integration, aero-engine control systems, and model-based systems development.
Overview
As a Systems Integrator - Control Systems, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful integration of complex control systems, from specification and design to testing and validation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement systems requirements, manage physical and functional interfaces, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. If you have a proven track record in systems integration, aero-engine control systems, and model-based systems development, we want to hear from you.
Required Skills
• Strong systems specification and integration background (10+ years)
• Strong understanding of aero-engine control systems (Electronic, Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydromechanical and Fluid based)
• Experience in systems requirements capture, modelling and validation
• Experience in physical and functional interface management
• Model-based systems development experience (Ideally using CAPELLA, Matlab Simulink and/or CAMEO)
• Experience of ARP4754A/B, ARP4761, DO178C, DO-160, CS-E and CS-25 certification guidance
• Proven record of customer-facing responsibilities in previous roles
• Proven record of supplier work package management in previous roles
• Experience in utilising safety engineering processes for high-integrity systems
• Multi Design Assurance Level development experience (DAL-A to DAL-E)
• A deep understanding of key principles for high-integrity systems development and integration
Other Requirements
• BPSS Security clearance required for all starters
• Availability for on-site work in Derby, minimum 3 days per week
