BOSTONAIR ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED PROJECT RESOURCE MANAGER TO SUPPORT OUR LEADING UK DEFENCE CLIENT WITH RETROFIT SOLUTIONS FOR IN-SERVICE AIRCRAFT WORLDWIDE.

Working with the Engineering team you will implement a clear, streamlined approach to planning of Engineering activities. This includes assigning resources based on priority, balancing workloads across individuals, and protecting project critical paths. These roles are essential to delivering projects on time within the overall programme.

Location: Frimley (UK)

Contract: 6 months initial (likely extension)

Status: Inside IR35

Hybrid Working: 3 days per week on-site

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build new or improve existing tools and processes in resource planning

• Level load current delivery plans

• Support scaling of project volume

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Allocate and optimise resources effectively.

• Experience with capacity planning and workload balancing.

• Understanding of project lifecycles and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

• Ability to coordinate with project managers and teams.

• Strong data analysis and forecasting abilities.

• Proficiency in using resource planning tools and software (we use Smartsheet).

YOUR PROFILE:

• Typically, 5+ years in resource planning, project management, or operations.

• Experience in the aviation industry or IT preferred.

• 1+ years Hands-on experience with resource planning and project management tools.

• Proven track record of working with diverse teams and departments.

MUST HAVE:

• Legal authorization to work immediately in the UK .

• Ability to work onsite in Frimley (UK) location a minimum of 3 days a week.
