Proving Engineer

INTEGRATIONS SYSTEM VERIFICATION ENGINEER

Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)

Location:Bristol up to 5 days on site with dynamic working (No set start and finish time, 37 hours within the week)

Clearance: British citizen or dual UK national. Security checks required.

Travel requirements: Some abroad travel with expensed weekly return or free time over the weekend. Some trips can be opted out of and flexibility offered.

Copello is seeking a number of Systems Proving Engineers to support a leading defence partner within their Naval-Based Air Defence domain. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team working on high-profile integration, proving and trials activities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Planning, preparing and executing system trials across exciting projects both in Bristol and abroad (optional).

• Generating trials documentation and supporting Trials Readiness Reviews

• Conducting data analysis and reporting following trials

• Supporting and conducting a range of trials including laboratory integration, ground, harbour, sea and firing trials (UK and overseas)

• Ensuring accurate data capture and supporting resolution of design issues

• Assisting with lab management activities, safety processes, and hardware/software configuration control

ABOUT YOU

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

• System integration, design proving or trials

• Naval integration or missile systems test

• System assessment, acceptance or design verification

• Electrical/mechanical build and interfacing

• Electronic design/test or network integration
