Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven expertise in MATLAB and Simulink for system modelling and simulation.
• Strong understanding of dynamic systems, numerical modelling, and system engineering processes.
• Experience with model-based design methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of coding standards, peer review practices, and configuration management.
• Hands-on experience with automated C/C++ code generation from Simulink.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git or EWM.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience working with external partners and cross-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Education and Experience:
• A solid background in engineering, systems engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Significant hands-on experience (ideally 5+ years) in simulation and modelling roles within a defence, aerospace, or similar high-tech environment.
Other Requirements:
• British Citizenship with the ability to obtain SC security clearance post-offer.
• Willingness to work on-site full-time due to workload requirements.
• Flexibility for occasional travel as needed.
• Commitment to quality standards, documentation, and configuration management.
