Masker – Aircraft Parts Painting
£13.29 per hour
Mon - Wed 0700 to 1730 & Thurs 0700 to 1630
Chelmsford
Permanent
Client Overview:
The client is a leading provider of surface treatment works within aviation, working on parts for both civilian and military applications.
Role Overview:
To mask aircraft components in line with technical requirements prior to surface treatments being applied and demask post treatment.
• Interpretation of Engineering Drawings illustrating areas of components to be masked
• De-mask aircraft components post treatment.
• Ensure all work complies with quality, regulatory and specification requirements.
• Adhere to health and safety requirements.
• Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company.
• Perform clean-ups on chemical leakage.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a masker is not essential as training will be provided.
• Experience working within an aerospace treatments environment preferred but not essential.
• Educated to GCSE Level in English and Maths with the ability to read documentation to be able to fulfil the role to the required standard
• Masking within a paint or metal finishing business is advantageous.
