Maintenance Support Administrator - Aviation MRO
£28,000 + £5,000 Shift Pay
4 on / 4 off - 07:00 - 19:00

Role Overview:
As the Maintenance Support Administrator (MSA), you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive administrative support to the Engineering Department. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all Line, AOG, and Base Maintenance work packs are accurately processed in the WINGS system, adhering to both company and regulatory standards. You will also ensure timely verification and submission of attendance data for payroll.
Accountability:
• Accurate Documentation: Ensure the correct compilation and management of Line and AOG maintenance documentation within WINGS.
• Timely Returns: Guarantee that completed maintenance documents are returned to customers promptly, meeting procedural deadlines.
• Payroll Data Accuracy: Verify and submit attendance data in a timely manner for payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
• Generate and close Line and AOG work packs, identifying necessary bill of materials and man-hour content.
• Update aircraft logbooks and records for contracted aircraft.
• Manage the intake, verification, and secure storage of aircraft maintenance documentation.
• Ensure completed work packs in WINGS include all required supporting documents (e.g., Form 1 certificates).
• Compile and issue Logbook Inserts post-maintenance for Line and AOG aircraft.
• Monitor AOG emails and coordinate with AOG engineers on urgent communications, including out-of-office hours.
• Create and manage Works Order Authority and KYC forms, ensuring accurate completion and customer liaison during out-of-office hours.
• Provide administrative support for Engineering Department functions, including sickness absence management, expense processing, AFB Premiums, and contractor/engineer timesheet entry.
• Assist in capacity planning and manpower allocation, maintaining staff availability to meet regulatory labour requirements.
• Perform ongoing quality control of maintenance work packs, ensuring accuracy throughout maintenance and before returning to the customer.
• Support the coordination and tracking of internal training requirements.
• Other duties as assigned by the company within your skill set.
• Add or remove tasks from work packages based on customer specifications.
• Make changes within the Planning and Labour sections of the WINGS system as required.
Qualifications:
• Minimum GCSE qualifications, Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
• Competent with computer systems and strong keyboard skills.
• with at least a grade C in English and Maths.
• Aviation or technical experience is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially under pressure.
