IT Support Engineer

Our client are seeking a dynamic IT Support Engineer to join there small but dedicated IT team. This is a varied role covering all levels of support — from day-to-day desktop troubleshooting to server administration and cloud technologies. You’ll play a key part in keeping our business-critical systems running across multiple sites, so flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset are essential. This position will involve occasional travel between there UK sites and participation in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours support for key systems.

• Provide 1st–3rd line support for users across Storm Aviation’s UK sites.

• Manage and maintain Windows desktop and server environments.

• Support and administer webservers, Azure services, Intune, and develop Power Automate workflows.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.

• Assist with system migrations, upgrades, and deployment projects.

• Develop and maintain automated workflows to streamline business processes.

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

Proven experience supporting Windows desktop and Windows Server platforms.

Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Intune, and modern cloud services.

Experience with webserver management (IIS or similar).

Familiarity with Power Automate (or other workflow automation tools).

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to support staff at all levels.

Willingness to travel occasionally to Storm Aviation’s UK sites.

A flexible, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.

Desirable Certifications

Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent knowledge of IT service management)
