Job description
OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Electrical / Avionics Engineer to support commercial aircraft modification and retrofit programmes within an aerospace design environment. The role focuses on electrical and avionics design, certification support, and engineering documentation for complex aircraft modifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and support electrical and avionics design for aircraft modifications.
• Produce and review certification and engineering documentation (wiring diagrams, installation drawings, Service Bulletins, ICA).
• Support aircraft modification projects from design through certification.
• Liaise with engineering, certification, suppliers, and customers.
• Contribute to design reviews, verification, and compliance activities.
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree in Electrical, Avionics, Aerospace, or related engineering field.
• 5+ years’ experience in aircraft modification or EASA Part 21J environment (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems and avionics integration.
• Experience with certification documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Familiar with DO-160, SSA, and aircraft certification processes.
• Experience with CATIA V5/V6 and AutoCAD preferred.
PROFILE
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on safety and compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and support junior engineers.
