Role:
UK CAA B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer
Hours:
4 on, 4 off or 7 on/ 7 off (Days)
Location:
Guernsey
Salary:
from £56,000 - £71,500
Ability to commute/relocate:
• Guernsey GY1: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)
This is an exciting opportunity to work on ATR 42/72 (400–600 series) and DHC6 Twin Otter aircraft within a professional and supportive environment.
Who We’re Looking For:
• Fully qualified B1 Licensed Engineers with current commercial type ratings
• Non-type rated B1 Engineers seeking to gain ATR or DHC6 type ratings (bonded training courses provided)
• Newly qualified B1 Engineers looking to take the next step in their career — our client offers structured type training on two aircraft types
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform and certify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on ATR and Twin Otter aircraft
• Ensure all maintenance is carried out in compliance with UK CAA and company standards
• Conduct troubleshooting, defect rectification, and documentation to high professional standards
• Liaise with engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery of aircraft to operations
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
• Hold a valid UK CAA Part-66 B1 License
• Experience on turboprop or regional aircraft advantageous
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality
• Flexibility to work 4 on / 4 off or 7 on / 7 off shift patterns
• Willingness to relocate or commute to Guernsey (relocation assistance available)

• Line Maintenance: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
• CAA B1 Engineering License (required)
