I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Sciences and have hands-on experience supporting aircraft maintenance activities in Dublin. In my aircraft maintenance experience with IAC Aviation, I worked in a safety-critical environment supporting aircraft and component preparation, power washing, spray painting and general maintenance activities. My technical education also provided a foundation in aircraft systems, maintenance practices, technical documentation and structured engineering procedures. I am familiar with ATA 100 principles and have additional technical training including Level 3 Manual Metal Arc Welding and City & Guilds AutoCAD. My wider professional experience has strengthened skills that are directly valuable in regulated maintenance environments: following detailed procedures, accurate reporting, quality control, issue escalation, teamwork and working consistently under defined standards. I place particular importance on safe working, clean and organised work areas, tool responsibility, FOD awareness and completing tasks correctly the first time. I am particularly interested in this opportunity because it would allow me to return my focus to aircraft engineering and develop further within an established defence and aerospace MRO organisation.
